Syracuse (19-11, 9-8 Atlantic Coast) lost 75-70 to No. 8 North Carolina on Monday night. The Orange clawed within three points in the closing minutes, but the Tar Heels pulled away. Michael Gbinije led SU with 17 points, but it wasn’t enough as Syracuse dropped its third game in its last four.
