Syracuse faced a large deficit late in the game, and didn't have enough juice to save its season with a late comeback in a 16-15 loss to Johns Hopkins.
Syracuse (13-3, 2-2 Atlantic Coast) fell to Johns Hopkins (11-6, 4-1 Big Ten), 16-15, in the quarterfinals of the NCAA tournament on Sunday. SU trailed by four goals late before scoring three times in 33 seconds to come within a goal of completing the comeback, and wasn’t able to do so.
